Marcella series – Traditional Teak

The Marcella Lounge consists next to these tables of the Marcella lounge bench (3-seat), the Marcella lounge chair and 4 modules (modular) namely the (2-seater) Marcella modular benches (arm left and arm right), the Marcella corner unit and a Marcella modular table which can be placed at the end of the module as well as in between the modules.

Povl Eskildsen

A product of the classic Danish furniture tradition, Povl’s interest in design in general and furniture design in particular, started at a young age on the shop floor of his parent’s furniture factory in Salling,
Denmark. Povl studied architecture at the Aarhus School of Architecture. He innitially worked with a number of Danish indoor furniture companies, before turning his sights on outdoor furniture. Working with among others, several respected outdoor furniture brands, Povl brought a new sense of design into the outdoor furniture lndustry, in particular in teak furniture, where his designs brought the elegance & comfort that had been the norm in Danish indoor furniture for decades to a category where weight rather than design and comfort had been key selling parameters.

To maintain the Marcella lounge items we have several maintenance products with different functions, we recommend everyone to use only the maintenance products of Traditional Teak for our furniture.

Teak Cleaner and Brightener 1 & 2

For cleaning and restoring gray discolored teak to its original honey brown color, we recommend using Teak Cleaner and Brightener 1&2 from Traditional Teak.

Teak Sealer 3

The easy-to-apply Teak Sealer 3 preserves the honey brown color of teak for a long period of time.

Teak PatinaShield 4 & 5

Teak PatinaShield is a colorless protection that prevents food particles from penetrating the teak wood and causing stains. This 2-in-1 maintenance product with high-quality ingredients also causes teak to develop a beautiful silver-gray patina, which many appreciate as a sign of elegance and character.
