Kate bench

The Kate bench is designed as a modern outdoor teak bench with a light and open appearance. At 150 cm in length, it comfortably seats multiple people and works beautifully alongside a dining table or as a standalone seating element in the garden.

The seat and backrest are made from high-quality Textilene®, providing flexible and supportive comfort. The combination of solid teak and Textilene® gives the bench a clean, contemporary character that fits perfectly within the  Kate collection.

The frame is crafted from premium A-grade teak and finished with stainless steel details, ensuring stability and long-term durability.

Colours and materials – Kate bench

The Kate bench is available in two colours:

• Black – Textilene®

• White – Textilene®

Textilene® is a strong, UV- and colour-resistant material that is breathable and quick drying. It is highly durable, low maintenance and ideally suited for outdoor use.

The black version creates a bold contrast with the warm tone of teak, while the white version offers a lighter, fresh and summery look.

The Textilene® adapts comfortably to the body and offers pleasant seating comfort even without a cushion. For additional comfort, a made-to-measure seat cushion is available.

The bench pairs beautifully with a  teak tables from the Traditional Teak collection. Thanks to its clean lines and balanced proportions, the Kate bench fits seamlessly into modern gardens and contemporary terraces.

A made-to-measure seat cushion is available for the Kate bench to further enhance seating comfort.

The cushions are offered in a wide selection of premium Sunbrella® and Agora® fabrics in various colours and price categories. These outdoor fabrics are known for their durability, colour fastness and easy maintenance, allowing the bench to be tailored to the style of your outdoor space.

Sustainability and materials

The Kate bench is crafted from solid A-grade teak sourced from responsibly managed plantations. This premium teak is carefully selected for stability, structure and long-term durability.

Teak is naturally resistant to moisture, mould and decay due to its high oil and rubber content, making it exceptionally well suited for outdoor furniture.

Over time, untreated teak will develop a natural silver-grey patina when exposed to outdoor conditions. This is purely aesthetic and does not affect the quality or lifespan of the furniture.

The Kate bench is part of the Kate collection by Traditional Teak. The range also includes deckchairs, relax chairs, stackable chairs and sun loungers, all designed in the same contemporary combination of premium teak and Textilene®.

Care and maintenance – Kate bench

For the maintenance of the teak components, we recommend using only Traditional Teak care products. These products are specially developed to clean, protect and preserve the natural appearance of teak garden furniture.

Teak Cleaner and Brightener 1 & 2
To clean weathered teak and restore its original warm colour, we recommend Teak Cleaner and Brightener 1 & 2.

Teak Sealer 3
If you wish to preserve the warm teak colour for as long as possible, Teak Sealer 3 is an excellent choice.

Teak PatinaShield 4 & 5
Teak PatinaShield is a colourless protective treatment that prevents dirt and moisture from penetrating the teak while supporting the development of an even, natural silver-grey patina.
