Povl Eskildsen

A product of the classic Danish furniture tradition, Povl Eskildsen’s interest in design in general and furniture design in particular began at an early age on the shop floor of his parents’ furniture factory in Denmark. Povl studied architecture at the renowned Aarhus School of Architecture. He initially worked with a number of Danish indoor furniture companies before turning to outdoor furniture. Povl worked for several renowned garden furniture brands and brought a new sense of design to the outdoor furniture industry, especially in teak garden furniture. His designs brought the elegance and comfort that had been the norm in the Danish indoor furniture industry for decades to outdoor furniture, making design and comfort the key selling points.

For the maintenance of the Carmen sun lounger we have several maintenance products with different functions, we recommend  to use only the products of Traditional Teak for our furniture.

Teak Cleaner and Brightener 1 & 2

To clean and restore gray discolored teak to its original honey brown color, we recommend using Traditional Teak’s Teak Cleaner and Brightener 1&2.

Teak Sealer 3

Teak Sealer 3 is an easy to apply product that preserves the honey brown color of teak for a long period of time.

Teak PatinaShield 4 & 5

Teak PatinaShield is a colorless protector that prevents food particles from penetrating the teak and causing stains. This 2-in-1 maintenance product with premium ingredients also causes teak to develop a beautiful silver-gray patina that many appreciate as a sign of elegance and character.
