Kate recliner

The Kate recliner stands out for its 7-position adjustable backrest, allowing you to easily switch between an upright seating position and a more relaxed, reclined posture. This makes the chair suitable for a variety of moments, from dining to unwinding outdoors.

The frame is crafted from solid A-grade teak and finished with stainless steel hinges and connections, ensuring a stable construction and refined appearance.

Thanks to its relatively lightweight design and foldable structure, the chair is easy to move and compact to store when needed.

The seat and backrest are made from Textilene® or Phifertex®, depending on the selected colour. These materials provide comfortable support and eliminate the need for additional cushions.

For added comfort, the Kate recliner can be perfectly combined with the matching Kate footstool, creating a more relaxed and comfortable seating position.

The Kate recliner is available in four colours:

• Black – Textilene®
• Taupe – Textilene®
• White – Textilene®
• Cloud – Phifertex® PVC/Olefin

The Cloud version is made from Phifertex®, a premium PVC/Olefin blend known for its strength, dimensional stability and softer feel. The light grey tone adds a calm, contemporary look that fits seamlessly into modern and nautically inspired outdoor spaces.

Textilene® is a proven outdoor material that is UV-resistant, colourfast and quick drying. Its durability and low maintenance make it ideal for long-term outdoor use.

The Kate recliner is part of the Kate collection by Traditional Teak, a range defined by comfort, flexibility and modern design. The collection includes deckchairs, folding chairs, director chairs, benches and sun loungers.

These pieces can be combined effortlessly to create a cohesive and functional outdoor setting.

Sustainability and materials

The Kate recliner is made from solid A-grade teak sourced from responsibly managed plantations. The wood is carefully selected for its stability, grain quality and long lifespan.

Teak is naturally resistant to moisture, mould and decay due to its high oil content, making it particularly suitable for outdoor furniture in changing weather conditions.

When left untreated, teak will develop a natural silver-grey patina over time. This is purely aesthetic and does not affect the durability of the material.

The use of Textilene® and Phifertex® further enhances the durability and ease of maintenance of the chair.

Cushions – Kate recliner

Cushions are available for the Kate recliner in two distinct models, each with its own look and level of comfort.

Elegant – CRE123
A beautifully finished cushion with a refined valance. This model has a more classic and luxurious appearance and offers a high level of comfort.

Michelin – CRM123
A slightly thinner design with stitched channels. This cushion has a lighter, more contemporary look while still providing comfortable support and a refined finish.

In addition, the following comfort options are available:

• Head cushion – HCE in Elegant model with valance
• Neck cushion – NCD in Design model, semi-circular shape

These accessories provide additional support for the head and neck, further enhancing overall comfort.

All cushions are available in a wide selection of premium Sunbrella® and Agora® fabrics. These outdoor fabrics are known for their durability, colour fastness and comfort, allowing the Kate recliner to be tailored to the style of your garden or terrace.

To maintain the teak components, we recommend using Traditional Teak care products.

Suitable for cleaning weathered teak and restoring its original warm colour.

Helps preserve the natural teak colour and slows down the greying process.

Protects the surface against dirt and moisture while supporting an even, natural patina.
